Satisfactory breakfast with plenty of meals. Countryside location, at a short distance from St Hugh. Enjoyed nice area.

Good food and nice ambiance in pub.
Very small room, even smaller bathroom. Attic conversion with only small velux window, which you had to stand on bed to open. Shower door did not close properly, risking water on floor. No bath mat. "Continental breakfast" was two packets of cereal and two rolls in room, but no space to eat. Free wifi internet access was not available when we arrived, but the boss fetched a dongle which we were able to use on one computer.

Came here for a wedding ceremony, recommendable. The hotel was clean with efficient and immensely pleasant staff at the reception desk. Marvellous and peaceful location - within walking distance of everywhere we needed. The main bar was good!

The King William IV has a charming atmosphere with friendly, dedicated staff making you feel welcome. Breakfast was good, although the room layout could have been improved. A bit of noise from the bar area and rooms was noted, but overall, it offers a cozy stay near the airport.

it is in a nice part of the country and fronts onto a nice green. The people are nice and seemed friendly and helpful.

I booked this for my mother for one night and was horrified when I saw the room. She went out and bought air fresheners and so it was left in a better state than it was found in. Breakfast was two individual boxes of cereal. There was a guy in his underpants and socks on the landing when we came back from dinner. This accomodation is more suited to transient contractors.

All I can say about our stay was uncomfortable and awful! It room was absolutly filthy... There was grime everywhere!! The continential breakfast included a croissant tied in a sandwich bag on the side board! We couldnt bare to have a shower at the thought of coming out dirtier than we went in... Scum all down the walls, filthy shower curtain and just plain dirty! We had a major leak in our bathroom so enjoyed a massive puddle to step in whenever entering the bathroom! I would never reccomend this hotel for anyone, coming off the plane to this was even more depressing than usual!

I did read other peoples reviews but it did say it had been referbish, it hasn't so I thought it may have changed. When we arrived the staff were resonable polite, We just got our room key then whent back into the pub for something to eat so didn't realy look at the room.I Asked the bar man for his wi-fi no and he told me it wasnt working as they had just had a new hub installed and it hadn't been set up yet, but that was one of the other customers reviews,so it Doesnt have wi-fi either. Had a few drinks before going to our room. At first it didnt look that bad the bedding looked nice and clean, the beds were well used, lumpy and squeeky, But it was the bathroom it stank of sewerage you had to keep the door shut. The sink is a childrens hand sink so if you need to have a wash you have to have a shower but the stench is that bad you dont even want to wash. IIwould say this is the worst place I have ever stayed.

King William is a pub with accomadation above the pub. The location was set in the Hertforshire countryside but only 5 mins from Luton airport and 10 mins from Luton train station. The staff were friendly and the locals even friendlier! We had a lovley pint and sat in a quiet corner of the pub for a few hours before retiring to our room. The room was very small but cosy and very clean. The bed was comfortable. We were not disturbed during the night by other travellers and slept well. And the price was amazing! Forty five pound including continental breakfast between two of us!
I think the pub could do with a lick of paint. The shower head needs replacing in room 6 as the water went in every direction except down on me!

Staff did all they could to help us and were great.
Room small and the bed was pretty uncomfortable. The en suite bathroom was also very small with fittings that weer not fited!!!!!!!!!The shelf was literally sitting on top of the soap dispenser (ie not actually drilled/screwed to the wall) and the cold tap was not fitted on to the sink. The shower itself was poor too as most of the water hit the walls off the shower.

Had a good time here enjoying the cozy pub atmosphere while savoring a hearty meal and appreciating the comfy bed in my twin room. The live music downstairs was a fun touch, and I loved relaxing on the sun terrace too. Just a heads up, the noise can get a bit lively at night, but it didn't spoil my trip! 😊
